I photograph what words can't say.
I started Gerald Teteh Photography because I believe wedding photography is one of the most important documentary arts there is. These aren't just nice pictures for Instagram — they are the visual record of one of the most significant days of your life. They deserve to be made with intention.
My approach is cinematic and editorial, shaped by a love of film, light, and honest human emotion. I work quietly, I move deliberately, and I'm always looking for the frame within the frame — the grandmother dabbing her eyes in the back row, the groom stealing a glance before you reach the altar, the split second of pure joy that happens between the kiss and the cheer.
Gerald Teteh Photography is a DBA under my established brand Black Xposure, where I've spent years honing a visual language that is bold, warm, and unmistakably intentional. Every session I photograph carries that DNA.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm studying light. Reading about film. Thinking about storytelling. And planning how to make the next gallery even better than the last.
